No, the device won't work with Windows 10 because there are no drivers for it. However, try connecting the device to PC and let Windows Update search for drivers. Maybe you won't get the official ones with all the tools, but at least Windows will try to install generic ones that will allow you to simply use the device.
In Windows 10, go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for latest updates to install them and it's possible that it will install Lexmark X1100 drivers as well.
