Hello,

I'm having trouble running DTBeam. We don’t have a lot of permissions on our machines. For instance, IT has to install all our software so I’m wondering if you had any suggestions. I do have permissions, however to C:\Program Files (x86)\DTBeam and C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs.

My version of the program is also from like 2002. We have another individual who purchased the current version and isn’t having any issues. Is there any way I could just get a copy of the new version since I already purchased mine. The error messages are below:

DT Beam version 1.00 has not been (is not) correctly installed on this computer. Please install (reinstall) DTBeam on this computer

The handle is invalid (CloseHandle, errno=6, unit=1)

Sometimes is not enough to have permissions only to a folder, because 99.99 % of the available apps required registry access as well. When you launch an executable, it looks for paths, configuration data and other settings in the registry.

Since you don't have access to the registry, when running the EXE file of DTBeam, it will say that it hasn't been installed. Request access from your IT administrator to allow the full installation of the software to be able to run it properly.

The guys at "Fine Ltd" can't answer your question... because they didn't create the software in question. They are a scam.
