I've installed New DVM-PRO and it creates and opens the following file formats: DVMX, DVMS, and DVMC. However, when you create a new file it allows you to choose various models, and as I predicted, those models are in DWG format which is also the format used by AutoCAD. To answer your question, yes, it opens the DWG files regardless of they year or version of AutoCAD they were created on.
