Yes, you will have to change the settings in any other application that you use to connect to the cameras or surveillance systems. This applies to the Zosi View program as well.
I've just tested this with my security system and changed the password, then the app on my phone said that the password was incorrect while I was using the old one. As soon as I entered the new password the software allowed me to watch the live streaming from a connected camera.
