Trying to use old 16bit software in 64bit Windows systems is frustrating when there's still a lot of good but old/incompatible software around, which is a pity.
I can't speak for LivePix 2.2 but I do have a CD with Livepix Special Edition Print Artist, c.1993 then bundled by Epson.
It won't load on my Win 8.1 64bit, but I discovered it does work without need for a virtual system. With the CD files stored on an external drive, I can call up its .exe from there and it works fine, no hassle. It's 'Print' utility doesn't work, but once finished pic is saved as jpeg, any other graphics programme can print it.
