PPM is very short to identify the name of the software you're looking for. However, if you have it installed, the first place to look for updates is its official website or if it supports auto-updating, start it and go to Help > Check for updates. Sometimes, this is the easiest/best solution to install the latest updates to an application.
It also depends if PPM is still available, because many applications are retired and replaced with something else, and again only the developers can provide additional information about it.
