Yes, you can save the content to your PC and then transfer it to the USB flash drive. The CD/DVD option was developed to make it easier to play content on the supported devices.
Start FlipAlbum Vista Suite, create the content you want and need and then use the built-in menu items to save and export the content to your PC or directly to the USB drive if it's attached to your PC. There is no other special procedure for this operation.
