I have a temperature digital Veriteq sensor and the software runs on Windows XP. I have my new computer having Windows 8, I don't know whether it will be possible to use the software.

I've located the official website of Vaisala Veriteq vCal and managed to obtain the user guide for version 4.5. As you can see below, there is no Windows 8 mentioned which means that officially, it doesn't support Windows 8, but you can try to install it in compatibility mode. Also, the software is not free, therefore you need to contact the developers to ask them if they can provide a demo version to test it on Windows 8 to avoid buying it for nothing.

System requirements.
