I keep getting "Communication failure. Check connection and settings" every time I've opened FileHippo this month. Any word on a fix?
There are two situations that could affect the functionality of the FileHippo App Manager:
The Firewall is configured to prevent access to the Internet for the application. Configure the software and place it in the Exclusion list.
The software can't reach the servers due to that reason it gives: communication failure. The servers are in maintenance or they have issues accepting requests from the software. Notify the developers or wait until it comes back again.
