My suggestion is to navigate to Control Panel and remove the webcam and its software then use the following link and search for a new driver and software because as I can see, the problem is connected with these factors. On the website you will find a field with the model number. You can find the number on the back of the laptop: just enter that model number and search for your device and drivers will be offered to you for the operating system you are using. Download the webcam drivers and perform a fresh installation. A reboot might be required in order for the settings to take effect.
