Setting up a router involves following a few steps. You will first need to master reset the router to be able to connect to the Internet or to another network.

Please locate the reset on the back of the router and use something sharp to press the button for almost 20 seconds. After this operation, wait for the router to completely restart, then use an UTP cable and plug one of the cable ends to the network port of the computer and the other end to one port of the router (1,2,3,4).

You should wait a minute in order the router could give you an Intranet IP address. Please use Start > Run > type CMD and press ENTER, then enter ipconfig /all and locate the Gateway IP Address.

Open a browser and type that IP address(usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1) and a configuration page will load with router's settings and options.

These are primary steps to configure your router. In order to connect to the Internet, you will need to contact your ISP for details about the Internet connection.
