Printscreen 2000 won't select correct area.

Question

When using a 4k monitor (1840x2160), the printkey opens a new display in a lower resolution when "Rectangular selection" is made, cutting off the rest of the much larger display.

Is there any way to correct this problem?

Yes, there is a solution to this problem, and that is to install and use an application that is properly supported by the current version of Windows and 4k resolutions. As far as I know, Printscreen 2000 is a deprecated application that doesn't have support for new things.

I strongly recommend using: Lightshot or GreenShot. I've been using these apps and I can tell you that they capture the screen in whatever the resolution is using. It can be 2k, 4k, 8k, etc. Doesn't matter because the selection mode will always capture everything.
