The only possible connectivity method I'm thinking is Bluetooth. If your loud speakers are Bluetooth enabled, then turn on the Bluetooth on your phone and then pair the two devices. It's actually pretty easy for loud speakers. You just have to press the Bluetooth button or put it in the pairing mode.
As for updating, use Google to search for ROMs that you can use for your phone and the required tools.
