When you're dealing with plug-ins for browsers, it's universally recommended to use Internet Explorer. It might not be a wise choice, but plug-ins are known to work out of the box with Internet Explorer since it provides maximum compatibility with them.
The same thing applies to SmartCam Web Viewer plug-in as well. Once it's installed, open Internet Explorer and navigate to the website you need.
