When I plug in my Cassette2USB converter into the USB port, an error message comes out saying the USB device is not recognized. It's been working fine all this time. Any ideas?

You will need to check the USB port and the drivers. Go to Device Manager (Start > Run > System > Hardware tab > Device manager) and check if there are any yellow signs. Usually, it's best to re-install the drivers. If the converter is using a cable, the problem could reside there and you will need to replace the cable.
