CMS software transfer info.

I need help with transferring information and the CMS-Software _02-12.exe program to a new computer. The computer that the software is on that we purchased is on the old computer that is being replaced. We don't want to lose all the information that is being stored with that one. Could you please help us with this? Thank you.

There are two ways you can choose to migrate the software:

  1. Backup its contents using Export function (not always available) or File Open, then File > Save and reinstall the application on another PC or copy its installation directory to a USB flash drive.

  2. Download a new version of the software to the PC, and use Dropbox or Google Drive to store the content of the software. Access Dropbox/Google Drive on the new PC and restore it within the application.

Note: For first version, you need to export the registry entries using Start > Run > regedit. Expand HKEY_Local_Machine > Software > Developer Name/Software Name, then right click the folder and choose Export. Copy the exported file to the new PC as well and double click it to merge it into the registry.
