Timeout settings in VideoMaster

I have a question about the functioning of VideoMaster: Video Master is returning a timeout error.
Are the timeout settings of "VideoMaster acquire.vi" different from the running environment such as WindowsXP/Vista/7 or are they set with the same time such as 5 seconds or 10 seconds in any environment?

The operating system has nothing to do with the software. You face a timeout error when the software stops responding and this is caused by a large number or reasons: faulty software, operating system, 3rd party application, not enough resources, etc. Make sure the scripting in the .vi file is coded properly. Perform additional test to the file and check it for compatibility issues.
