I couldn't find anywhere about the inquiry above. There are websites mentioning Sage Pastel Evolution, but none of them provide info regarding the way a user can close a month or a period. I believe this should be pretty obvious for such applications, but since we don't have any info about it, I recommend to look through the Help database available within the software. I am pretty sure the procedure is explained clearly in that database.
Additionally, look in the installation folder for PDF or CHM files with help information.
