I was called by Network Security Shield that my system that I had installed 3 years ago was red flagged that people were trying to get into my computer. The person calling was Paul Henderson Emp. #13509. He said he would install the 5 years plan called Sonicwall TZ500 Advanced Protection. He said they could not take my bank info, and I would have to purchase iTunes gift card for $400. I did that, and they said those were not the right ones, and they were refunding me and I needed to get the $50 gift cards. So I did that. Then they said it was activated. But then I found out that the refund was not done and could only be done through iTunes. But iTunes said I had to spend another $600 to get the refund from them. At this point, I knew it was a scam and told them so. I also went to Apple to see if the system was on my computer, and it was not. I called Paul Henderson back and was given to the account person, Jack Dawes, who started to say that Apple lied but finally told me that I would get all of the money refunded. That was on 19th Oct. They have my credit card information, but I called, and no refund has been issued as of yet.

I want to know how can I get the refund before I put the fraud request to my credit card company on Nov. 1st. The credit card company said it can take up to 7-10 business days for the refund to show. Please let me know if this refund is being processed.

There are 3 things in this discussion: Apple, bank, and the person that scammed you. Apple doesn't have any fault in this since they can't be held responsible of your actions, but if they agree to refund you, then you should simply wait and issue the fraudulent charge.

Also, stay in touch with your bank at all times and make sure they block the card if the scammers already have the credit card info.
