The Tv-Plug-In isn't something you have to sign up for. I've downloaded and installed the application then started a live streaming from the Movies category and it started. The only downside is that it displays a lot of ads before and while you watch the streaming channels.
There is no signup button or notification for that matter. It's just a simple application that can be installed like anything else without further configuration.
