I have a Motorola phone and I'm on my laptop and under a file it says Motorola Drives Installation 6.4.0 it said modified on Sept 10, 2016. I want to know what can this installation do to your phone? I didn't install it and it won't even let me open the folder! My phone overheats all the time, and the battery is now taking forever to charge! So why would someone install it and not tell me?? Can they see everything you do on your phone?

You shouldn't worry about Motorola Mobile Drivers Installation because that's actually an important part of your Motorola device and Windows PC. The software is used to install the drivers on Windows so you can access the content on your phone while it's connected to a PC, that's why you don't have access to because it's used to deploy the necessary files for installation.

No one is watching you or has access to your phone. For example, for Samsung phones, the alternative is KIES, an app that install the necessary software on PCs for Samsung phones to be recognized so you can download messages, videos, contacts, music, etc.
