How to update from Kitkat to Lollipop 5.1 without rooting? I have done rooting before.
There are two ways to update the Android OS on your mobile:
Through the application provided by the Motorola developers called Motorola Device Manager available for downloading using the following link: https://motorola-global-en-aus.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/87731
Through OTA (Over The Air). Connect to a WiFi network, charge your phone to 85+ % battery and then use Settings > About > Software Update and follow the instructions.
Note: Most Motorola phones will install the necessary software when you connect them to PC.
