Can ERDAS or ENVI handle geostationary satellite VHRR images from INSAT or Kalpana?

These applications are specially built to handle such data from satellites. You can manipulate the images and data due to the fact that these application use powerful tools because of their important role in establishing quality results regarding geostationary data.

ENVI need this plug-in MODIS Toolkit(to open image with HDF5 format).
