The app freezes.

asked by about VSDC Free Video Editor

Hi. I am using VSDC since a couple of weeks. Never had a problem but now that I am trying to do a more length video I have a problem. I can reproduce the parts of the video without problems but when I previsualize... the hell! It freezes, I have tried erasing the transitions, wipe, chess, etc., but nope, the problems still occurs. I can not even export the video because it freezes too.

This is the crash report, I think that this is a random crash, not sure.:

I got by email what you want to do is make sure the app is running on a right verison on a PC,Mac if that does not work than make sure that it does not take all the computers "CPU" if that does work agian sorry.

Hi, they have upgraded the version (5.1.2). I guess the new build with handle it.

Hi. It seems that the app crashes a little less than before with the new version. Thanks. Anyways, another things that was "I can reproduce the parts of the video without problems but when I previsualize... the hell!" doing that.

I have realized that when I have a little video, let's say 30 secs and I make it fast let's say 500 more than the real speed, the video tends to freeze. Maybe it is because being to fast the video ends and the app thinks that the video continues and VSDC explodes LOL.

Regards.

Hi. Thanks both; I am upgrading now but anyways, I have found the bug.

When I do a project with let's say three videos and I reproduce it or convert the files with its original sound, no problem.

When I try to do the aforementioned but silencing each video in order to put some music or whatever, the crash appears.

I am not sure if it is a crash or not because sometimes it seems that reproduces the video but it takes a LOT of time. It is annoying though.

My question now it is, if I convert the videos to a single file, silence it and then add audio and convert again; that will take down the quality of the video? I mean, convert it twice. Thanks and regards.
