A failure in communication means that something is wrongly configured, and a port or a network cable is not working correctly. For network ports, it's simply easier to actually reinstall the necessary drivers, but not before removing the previous ones. This is a common method, but it has fixed errors of this kind many times before. Remove all the drivers/software and then reinstall it again.
Secondly, investigate the network connections and make sure that the firewall is also configured to allow network communication between the printer and other computers.
