How to use Power Director Video Grabber?

I have just installed the software from the CD. I have then connected my VCR to my PC using the USB cable etc. I then start to play a VHS in on order to record/transfer. However, I see nothing on screen to indicate Video grabber is working, no image etc. What am I supposed to see on screen?

PowerDirector is a product released by Cyberlink and as I know those developers, they also provide tutorials and instructional guides on how to perform various operations while using their products. This is the case for PowerDirector as well.
