"Recents" section is displayed for 3 users you have sent or received Snaps. If you stop talking with those users, the Recents list will be cleared automatically or simply talk with someone else and the old 3 users will be replaced with the new ones.
If you want to clear the Feed, go to Settings > Clear Feed and the recent items will be cleared.
