Wireless mirroring.

Question

I have a Samsung 6 Edge Plus, Dell Xps 13 inch convertible with Intel Core i7 with Windows 10 and Philips Picopix Beamer all connected to the same WiFi network.

1. I can't mirror either device to the projectors wirelessly.
2. Is it possible to WiFi Direct mirroring without having a router?

If you want to mirror the Samsung S6 Edge Plus, then you will need an All-Share Cast dongle or use a cable. It doesn't work in other way unless the projector also has an app that can connect to the Galaxy S6.

The same goes for the WiFi Direct feature. Both devices have to be compatible before you can actually use them.

However, based on my experience, it's always better to use a cable.
