ViewProp error when executed.

Question

I get the following error when executing ViewProp .

Error initializing DxAtlas. Please be sure DxAtlas is installed. ViewProp
will exit now.

DxAtlas runs OK when I launch it. Should I delete ViewProp and reinstall it to be able to configure it again?

Since I didn't find any troubleshooting regarding the error you've received, you should proceed with the reinstall operation. In most of the cases it fixes the errors related to the product not being recognized by other that depend on it. Now, when you install it, right click the setup package and choose Run as Administrator. This simple operation gives the setup package exclusive rights to add the necessary keys in the Registry, which I believe is the way DxAtlas is recognized by the ViewProp.
