The application requires a hardware lock error.

One of my client is using TAT EX. Last time the client has successfully accessed the software some months back. But when the client tried to open the software recently he suffered from the "The application requires a hardware lock". Please help me out, what should I do to run it smoothly?

A hardware lock represents a physical device that can be attached to PC to USB or COM/Serial ports. That hardware lock informs the software that you are fully entitled to run the licensed version of the software. The lack of the physical device will render the software useless. If you have issues with the device, then you will have to contact the seller/support service of the software. In case the device expired, a new one is required or a new activation is necessary.
