Error 1722 when trying to install VPN on Windows 7 64-bit.

Question

I was unable to connect to the VPN this weekend, and then I uninstalled it and tried to re-install it to solve this issue, but when I try to re-install it, I received an error. Below is an error message. Please help me and take a look at it. Thanks in advance.

Error 1722: There is a problem with this Windows installer package. A program runs as part of the setup did not finish as expected.Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

Error 1722 is related to Windows Installer process. In this case it means that the package you are trying to install is either corrupted of incomplete due to downloading problems.

In either cases, you need to install the latest version of Windows Installer. Also when you download the VPN driver and package, make sure that when you perform the installation, you should right click the package and use "Run as Administrator" option so the package can have full access to system files and resources.
