No, you can't change the date format because this is the default one. The software is on a 12Hr display mode without the possibility to change it. I've checked the entire software and its options, Help files, configuration files - nothing. This is just the way it has been designed to work.
Additionally, visit the official website, but it doesn't list any documentation at all. There's just the downloads listed.
