Golden Cherry Deluxe HOLD indicators.

Question

How do I use the HOLD feature? I am in level 8 and supposedly can hold reels through #3, but nothing tells me how. The only change since it told me I could hold a reel is an audio of someone whistling.

According to the developer's description, the HOLD and Nudge functions are bonus features that unlock the more you play. If you're at level 8 and there is no indication about the HOLD feature, then it means you will have to play more to unlock it and notifications will appear when the feature will be available. This is the only thing I could find about this game.
