Since there is no troubleshooting information about this application, I recommend checking the built-in Help. You can either go to Help > Contents to read the image acquisition and transfer procedure or look in the installation folder of the software for PDF or CHM files.
The official website doesn't provide manuals or information on how to work with it, but the simplest process requires you to connect the camera to PC using its cable and then start the MediaImpression and that's it. The camera should be available in the application and read to transfer the files.
