How do you install a plug-in?

Just wondering how you install the plugins into Windows Live Writer? When I try to add a plugin it just directs me to the Windows site.

The only way to install plug-ins is through other websites, because the official one isn't working anymore. Some plugins can be installed automatically with an installer, others require manual installation.

For manual installation, download the ZIP files and place the files in the corresponding directories:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Writer\Plugins

C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Writer\Plugins on 32-bit versions of Windows
