I have checked the official website related to SmartErase, but there is no download, driver or item available for downloading. Go to Device Manager using Start > Run > devmgmt.msc. Make sure that all the drivers are installed properly. A possible cause might be the lack of driver installation. If you are connected to the Internet, right click the problematic device and choose Update Driver then follow the instructions.
However, there is always a possibility that the software doesn't support your drive version, no matter the drivers installed or not.
