Software ivisionmax 3.8 query information

I've installed ivisionmax 3.8 recently. When I open this software, it shows the message like below:

"C:\LNT\iVisionmax\3.8\bin\PVSS00ui.exe: Can't fetch the PVSS installation path! Exiting... (0), 2015.12.29 12:30:20.328: exit(1) called!"

Is there a problem with installation?

No, there is no problem with the path. The problem is with the user you're running the software. For example, if you have a local account and the software has been installed with Administrator access, then you won't have permission to launch the software. Simply use an Administrator account, right click the file and choose Run as Administrator and the software will identify properly the path where it was installed.
