Here is what it reports, followed by a list of all the files(!)

"The files are possibly corrupt (Bad digital signature) total: 1,885"

I know I go to Microsoft Downloads Center to download these files on Windows 7. Where are they located?

I don't think there are 1885 problems on your PC with the installed files. This type of applications usually reports problems more that the actual number is. I would advise to use CCLeaner to check the problems with registry because it's possible that the software you're using to delete important files. CCleaner is configured to analyze only the files that are actually bad and obsolete items.

However, before cleaning those "possibly corrupted" files, I recommend creating a System Restore Point. Go to Control panel, and use the Search to type, then input System Restore. Create a restore point and after that use the software to fix the issues.
