Is Sound Organizer compatible with Windows 10?

The annoying Windows 10 scan pop-up says I have 0 apps that are incompatible, but I had read that Sound Organizer is not compatible with that operating system. Is the new update compatible? I just got a sound recorder and the version it installed is 1.5, I see the latest version is 1.6 and could probably update that.

There is no Windows 10 compatibility listed for version 1.6. According to the system requirements, you can install the application on the following versions of Windows:

  • Windows 8 / 8.1 (64-bit version supported) (Windows 8 / 8.1 Pro / Windows 8 / 8.1)

In Windows 10, you could try applying a compatibility tweak. Right-click the setup package and then select Properties > Compatibility. Select Windows 8.1 from the list and then launch the application.

I have no problems using SO 1.6 with Win 10 now, but there was at first an issue with the size of the window, as it was way too small. I could however fix that by right-clicking on the installation file and go for Properties. There I chose Compatability Settings.
There I chose to change the DPI settings.
Then marking both boxes.
Then picking the "I open this program" option in the first text window.
Then picking the "System" option in the second text window.
After that my Sound Organizer is big and clear again.
