Sound Organizer loads very slow with Windows 7.

I have good experience with Sound Organizer running under XP, but now that it's been installed using Windows 7 it loads very, very slow. Apparently it is doing data base maintenance before starting. Once it does start we see the usual file list is shown. How can I get this to start as fast as it did with XP?

Try running the application as administrator. If the Sound Organizer application is lacking Windows 7 compatibility, then you should expect errors to appear.

Software compatibility:

• Windows 8.1 Pro / Windows 8.1 (64-bit version supported)
• Windows 8 Pro / Windows 8 (64-bit version supported)
• Windows 7 (Service Pack 1 or later) (64-bit version supported) (Ultimate / Professional / Home Premium / Home Basic / Starter)　
• Windows Vista (Service Pack 2 or later) (64-bit version supported) (Ultimate / Business / Premium / Home Basic)

I recommend downloading the latest version from the Sony website. Remember to launch the setup package as Administrator at all times.

Thanks.  There were no error messages like that.  I did use "Administrator."  A question: Now that this has been installed, and .mp3 files are in place, is there danger of losing the .mp3 files if I remove the program and re-install it?
