I have ACFancontrol on Aspire 5755g, and finally I found a program that works. I found a config file that works, but after a while it auto changes to BIOS control. I can not set it to smart mode, it wants to stay on Bios and then it gets too hot and system shuts down. Can I change the i.ni file and what do I change please, I am on Windows 10?

Also I had a look and tried to change the .ini file myself but it said access is denied.

You need to close the application in order to modify the INI files. However, I wouldn't recommend applying values in manual mode because you might cause errors or damage the hardware. The software automatically uses only the values that it considers safe. If you can set up the PWM mode for your fans, then you can use this application or SpeedFan to change speed.

The computer shuts down because the fans are not configured properly and the software lowers their RPM therefore increasing the heat accumulated.
