I have just uninstalled Vista Shortcut Manager. It has left some ugly blank sheets over the original icons (all of them). How do I go back to the original (shortcut) icons? Even with the arrows they looked better than they do now.
You can restore the default shortcut look using a tool that was created for this purpose. The software's name is Windows Shortcut Arrow Editor, and it can be downloaded using the link posted below. Launch the application and then select the way you want to look. The software will automatically restart Windows Explorer, and the shortcuts will look how you selected them to look in the application.
