Stopping an application from running.

On my desktop, I am recently being asked whether to permit True API Biometric Framework to open web content. I do not see Authentec in my program list. Why is this happening, and how do I stop it?

As far as I know, the API Biometric FrameWork needs to run on your computer for the fingerprint to be recognized. There have been reports regarding this issue, and the users had to deal with the pop-up by closing it manually each time it ran. This module is necessary if you want the fingerprint reading to work normally on your computer. Additionally, you can re-install the fingerprint driver. You can't find it in the programs list, because it's installed as a driver, not as an application.
