Online status indicator.

What does it mean exactly when it says one of your Viber contacts is 'online'? Does it mean that they are actively online (i.e actually using their Viber all at that time) or does it mean that their phone is connected to the internet at that time?

When it says that's online, actually the user is connected to the Internet and using the application. However, I wouldn't rely on those status indicators at all because I have personally tested them, and found that one user from my list who was next to me appeared offline and Viber was started and connected to the Internet. There is a 50-50 chance of being online at that time.
