Transparent picture backgrounds.

I can make the white background transparent using Paint.net, but when I try to copy the picture to Scrapbook plus it has a black background. It doesn't matter if I make it PNG or GIF. It works in Microsoft Word and in PowerPoint, but not in Scrapbooks Plus. Is there a way to do this?

The official website of the application doesn't offer any information regarding transparency, which means it doesn't support images that have transparent elements/background. Secondly, it's impossible to test the application myself since it's on a commercial license meaning that I have to buy it to test it. I recommend checking the HELP menu to see what are the proper image formats supported by the application and then proceed further.
