Disable Highlight Cursor.

Question

I am employed as a Medical Transcriber/Editor by a company that uses the Triton platform. I wanted to know if there was a way to disable the highlight that follows the text. I have inner ear vertigo - dizzy spells - and watching that little block of purple hopping around is a bit uncomfortable, but can be debilitating if I'm fighting a dizzy spell. My employer has stated it's not possible to disable this function, but I was hoping it might just be that it was not possible for them to do do it and be possible to actually do by some other means, i.e., yourselves or by your instruction.
