Can't open my Wordperfect Office x6 files in Windows 10.

I just installed Windows 10 and now can't open my Wordperfect files, which I have been using for 25 years. The following message appears: 'This Application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the Application's support team for more information".

According to the official requirements, WordPerfect Office X6 is not compatible with Windows 10. This is the main cause to your errors. Since the application can't be installed properly, your files can't be opened. However, I have checked the newly released version (WordPerfect Office X7) and it appears it's compatible with Windows 10.
