Errors using QMP 5.0.121.

Question

After successfully using QMP for some time I suddenly get the error message "QMP does not function anymore. Windows could search for a solution of the problem online". Clicking this message does not do anything. Below there are the problem details.

Inserting a new music CD starts the Gracenote plug in and produces the tags. Trying to rip the CD produces the error message from above. Several removals and new installations of QMP did not cure the problem. What could I do?

As I can see from the message above, the error is caused by the Gracenote module. Unfortunately, this could be diagnosed in 2 ways:

1. Send an email to the developer with the error above and wait for a response regarding further actions. Tip: Use the built-in Help > About to obtain contact details.

2. Completely remove the application from your computer and then re-install the latest version. If the file was corrupted, this is the proper way to fix it.
