If you have problems with the application, then I recommend updating your graphics driver to the latest version. Secondly, right click the executable file for the application and choose Properties > Compatibility. From the drop down menu, select a Windows version prior to 10 (eg. Windows XP or 7). After this procedure, run the software as Administrator and then try to connect.
