Based on the description of this application, the only device you can use to play the converted files is the Apple iPod. I haven't see anything related to iPhone, but there are many other converters available on the Internet that can be used to transform a DVD to iPhone and iPod format. Technically, these two devices should play the same files without issues, but if the encoding is done differently, it will be compatible only with certain devices.
